Breast Cancer Ireland receives a lot of support through the fundraising efforts of school students and their teachers. 

Many primary and secondary schools have nominated Breast Cancer Ireland as their charity of choice for their fundraising activities. Our school supporters have organised sponsored walks, car park charges, non-uniform days, talent competitions and much more to help support our work. Every family has been touched by breast cancer in some shape or form, whether personally or through the wider community. Events are often organised through teachers or principals, but in many cases, students have decided upon their fundraising activity and organised it themselves. Transition Year students sometimes make fundraising the focus of a project at school.
