“I am delighted to become an Ambassador for Breast Cancer Ireland. I am very supportive of their wish to transform breast cancer from often being a fatal disease to a treatable illness that can be maintained long-term. Having my grandmother, who is a survivor, and my mum and sisters in my life I am keen to give back and support the work of this charity. Breast cancer affects so many – not only those diagnosed but also the entire network of family and friends. We all need to support the women in our lives, and I hope that my involvement with Breast Cancer Ireland will help to make even a small difference.”
