Overview of Role
As a Retail Shop Assistant, you will be part of a small passionate team, responsible for driving sales at the Lorraine Keane Fashion Relief Pre-Loved Boutique in the Frascati Centre, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, supporting the efforts of Breast Cancer Ireland
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for fashion and retail. The store’s success relies on its connection with the local community and the ability to foster strong relationships with the in-store team, customers, and the surrounding area.
Applicants must submit a current CV and a cover letter outlining their motivation for applying. Candidates must be eligible to work 20 hours per week.

Time Commitment
Tuesday to Saturday. 10am to 2pm. 20 Hours Per Week with cover across summer months required.
Customer Service & Sales
- Assisting customers with styling advice and recommendations
- Providing excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Processing sales transactions, handling cash and using the POS system
- Upselling and promoting special offers or new arrivals
Store presentation & merchandising
- Organising and maintaining store displays to maximise sales
- Ensuring clothing is neatly arranged and replenished as required
- Assisting with visual merchandising to highlight key items
Stock Management
- Receiving, unpacking and sorting stock as required
- Conducting regular stock checks
- Assisting with necessary stock rotations and markdowns
General Store operations
- Keeping the store clean, clutter free and welcoming
- Helping customers with sizing
- Following company policies in relation to re security,& health and safety
- Supporting promotional events and campaigns
Skills and Experience Required
- Enthusiastic team player
- Open and approachable
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in retail a bonus
Training & Induction
- Overview of Breast Cancer Ireland will be provided
- Team meet and greet
- Induction provided on role on commencement: processing, point of sale, customer service training.
